SPOTTED: Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado at Mel’s Last Night at 4 AM

Last night at 4 AM, I went with a few friends, one of whom is from out of town, to Mel’s Diner on Sunset Blvd because it’s one of my favorite late night spots to go to after a long night out. It’s not rare that I have celeb spottings at Mel’s, but last night was especially interesting.

Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado from The Hills walked in with their other friend “Sleazy T,” who was featured on Brody’s recent flop of a show, Bromance. They sat down at the booth directly across from us, and started having some bromantic conversation…

Brody was talking about his very recent ex-girlfriend, Playboy playmate Jayde Nicole, and basically said he still talks to her and really trusts her because he knows she would never go through his phone or anything like that, but he kept saying something about being “fed up” and not being able to “take it anymore.” He also mentioned a girl named Carrie who sounded like a possible new love interest.

Frankie then started spilling his guts, and while it was hard to hear, I know I heard the name “Audrina” a couple of times…interesting.

After the bromantic talk was over and their milkshakes and fries were demolished, Brody got the bill and paid for everyone, no questions asked. As the boys got up to go, a guy at my table thought it would be funny to call Brody over to take a picture with my girl friend from out of town.

In a nutshell, he called Brody’s name like, 50 times, as loud as possible, to the point where every person in Mel’s responded except Brody, who was definitely trying to ignore it and get out of the diner. After a while, the guy screams, “Brody, my friend here is the biggest fan of your show and she would love to take a picture with you,” while my girl friend sunk into her chair, mortified. Brody FINALLY turns around and says, “Oh nahh dude, I don’t take pictures….I’ll say ‘hi’ though.” So he offers to shake my friends hand, introduces himself, “Hi, I’m Brody, and this is Frankie.” (No introduction for Sleazy T of course..) The handshake happened……and it was awk-ward. Then they turned and walked out, and the entire restaurant started bashing on Brody. Someone even yelled “…who IS that guy?” which was just classic.

Brody: you a) have no talent and b) are famous for no reason, and you “don’t take pictures”??? Too bad, I took one anyway…douche.

Brody! - I'm a huge fan of yours and LC's! (Actually all of your guy's!) - Just wondering where you were in Ohio...I'm from Columbus (Powell, specifically). Downtown Cbus is so much fun, especially in the summer! How cool would it be if you and your crew came in town! Hope all is well, and tell Lauren I can't wait for The Hills, Monday!
